Festival History
Founded by Jim McCue in 2000, the Boston Comedy Festival has been a launchpad for some of the biggest names in stand-up. Each year, the festival showcases rising stars, giving audiences a chance to see tomorrow’s comedy legends before they hit the big time.
Hosted by Dan Crohn
Boston’s own Dan Crohn will host the night. A semi-finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and the Laughing Skull Festival, Dan’s sharp storytelling and quick wit have made him a New England favorite. His work has been featured on XM Radio, and he was a guest on WTF with Marc Maron.
Special Guest: Al Park
Also taking the stage is special guest Al Park, a rising star who has won both the Boston Comedy Festival and Cleveland Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition. Named Boston’s Best Comedian by Improper Bostonian, Al’s stand-up has been featured on FOX TV’s “Laughs” and at the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, NY.
