TOUR DATES: February 1 -18
Ok here is some information from my last tour. Before this last tour I was going back and forth from Iraq and Afganistan this tour was actually fairly easy and we were able to go to some wonderful places and meet some wonderful people. It was also a reminder that we have people stationed all around the world and we need to remember their sacrifices as well.

PURPOSE OF TOUR:
Your job is to lift the spirits and morale of US Armed Forces men & women to help maintain their readiness and effectiveness while serving in defense of our country. All of the troops you will entertain are far away from home and their loved ones. They are stationed in a region with the high threat condition and cool weather conditions!
From the time you leave until your return, you will meet many people, experience demanding travel, jet lag, military regulations, changing weather, different cultures and languages. Preparation and flexibility will be your keys to a successful tour. There are many things you won’t have control over, so you must
REMAIN FLEXIBLE AND GO WITH THE FLOW!”
You will perform for very gracious and appreciative audiences, our American troops. You will see places most Americans may never see. Along with a LOT of hard work and demanding travel, your tour should prove to be both fascinating and rewarding.
Boston Comedy Festival on tour:
The Boston International Comedy & Movie Festival began back in 2000 as a way to showcase New England stand-up comedy talent to bigger audiences and the entertainment industry and has grown into one of the top comedy events in the country. We are thrilled to be bringing entertainment to our US Troops. For those of you who are working with us for the first time, The Boston Comedy Festival is the Tour Producer for your upcoming trip. We work directly with the Naval Entertainment to coordinate all logistics of the tour including travel, production, lodging, meals, show details, etc. One of our representatives will be traveling with you as a tour manager and will be the lead contact on all matters. During the course of your tour ALL issues regarding this tour that require communication with the Armed Forces should be conducted directly through your Jim McCue. Following this simple instruction goes a long way in determining your possible future tours with Boston Comedy Festival in other parts of the world.
PERFORMANCES: Here are the rules if you want to entertain for the military.
The contract will stipulate that you will be expected to perform 90-minute shows divided between all four performers. Material cannot be offensive to anyone in regards to race, religion, national origin, sex, military rank, military service or handicaps. Neither the performance or song lyrics can glorify violence, sexual depravity or drug use. All entertainment groups are expected to participate in daily “meet & greets” and visit with personnel during their stay. Each show will be at a separate base location. We may be asked to perform twice in one day at different locations, which we will attempt to accommodate if circumstances allow. We will try to advise you in advance if this is planned.
