15th Annual East Greenwich Kiwanis Comedy Night. A Sold-Out Night of Laughter!
This past weekend I had the honor of headlining the 15th Annual East Greenwich Kiwanis Comedy Night Fundraiser at Birch Hill Country Club. What a terrific evening it turned out to be. The place was packed, not an empty seat in the room, and the crowd was more than ready to laugh.
I was joined by two very funny comedians, Steve Van Zandt and Michael Speirs. Both of them delivered strong sets and had the audience roaring. I also want to thank Steve for putting this event together and inviting me to be part of it.
Nights like this remind me why I still love doing stand-up after all these years. Comedy has a way of bringing people together. For a couple of hours, you can forget about the news, the bills, and the daily grind, and just enjoy being in the moment. Add to that the fact that the evening supported the Kiwanis Club’s community programs, and it makes the laughter mean even more.
If you couldn’t make it out this time, don’t worry. I’ve got plenty of shows coming up. You can always find my schedule at here
Here’s what Steve had to say afterward:
“Jim headlined our 15th Annual Comedy Night Fundraiser, and knocked it outta the park! His schtick was a perfect fit for the mostly baby-boomer-aged group, just as I knew he’d be. Book this funnyman for your next event, and see for yourself what a consummate pro he is.”

It was a night to remember, and I’m grateful to have been part of it.
