Jim McCue Headlines Laugh for Life Comedy Fundraiser in Hebron, CT
Laugh for Life: A Great Night of Comedy for Caring Families in Hebron, CT
Jim McCue joins Gordon Douglas, Seth Norr, and Jeremy Bradley for the 2nd Annual Laugh for Life Comedy Fundraiser.
What a fantastic night of comedy at RHAM High School Auditorium in Hebron, Connecticut!
I had the pleasure of closing out the 2nd Annual Laugh for Life Comedy Show, a special evening of laughter benefiting Caring Families.
A huge shoutout to organizers Olivia Braaten and Jeremy Bradley, who did a wonderful job putting together a terrific lineup and bringing the community together for a great cause.
A Night Full of Laughs
Jeremy Bradley kicked off the evening with some big laughs of his own. I'm thinking Jeremy might have a second career in stand-up comedy if he ever decides to give it a shot!
Next up was Gordon Douglas, a veteran clean comedian with nine kids. That's not just a family—that's a lifetime supply of comedy material! Gordon had the audience roaring with hilarious stories about marriage and raising a family.
Then came Seth Norr, following a dad joke contest that I suspect was designed to give the audience a chance to recover from Gordon's belly laughs.
Seth delivered an incredibly thoughtful and funny performance, filled with cleverly crafted material and plenty of surprises.
Closing Out a Wonderful Evening
Finally, it was my turn to take the stage for 45 minutes of stand-up comedy and crowd work.
With an audience already warmed up by such a talented lineup, I had an absolute blast! There is nothing better than performing for a room full of people who are ready to laugh, especially when everyone is there to support a meaningful cause.
Comedy That Makes a Difference
One of my favorite things about being a stand-up comedian is having the opportunity to participate in charity comedy fundraisers like Laugh for Life.
Comedy brings people together, and when laughter helps support organizations like Caring Families, it makes the evening even more rewarding.
A big thank-you to Olivia, Jeremy, all the performers, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support Caring Families and fill the auditorium with laughter.
Here's to more laughter, more community, and more great causes!
